Born and raised in the far northern forests past Yyasulani in Yok Tural, Shaahye had the life of a typical Shetona for his first years. With a passion for his lands and peoples, he took to delving into the histories he could scrounge up on his own, and listen to the tales of Shetona older than himself.
With his own travels Shaahye seeks to ever deepen his understanding of his homelands and finds solace in them while now alone-- and learn as much as he can about the land, of his home and elsewhere, while exploring every inch of Tural.At least, that's what he might tell you.

Shaahye has a vehement love of his homelands and their peoples. With much of his work these days for merchants and traders who cross the salt, he's often pleased to share a story, a drink, or a meal with fellow Turali.
....Most likely, anyways.

Well versed in anthropology throughout Tural and even more well-traveled, Shaahye is able to be pointed out also as a guide for those who may need to head a certain direction. Though, he says he's not much of a fighter or guard.

Though not exactly warm, Shaahye is a face able to be picked out by folks familiar and unfamiliar. Locals may point to him for those interested in procuring something rare, for translations, or as a traveler's guide.

While he claims being no combatant, Shaahye is quite good at tracking down specific fauna and flora across Tural. Even if he's yet to find it, he's always up for a good challenge with company.

Of course, he favors his homelands

⸻ As a young man dealing with now distant loss, Shaahye was taken in and taught the art of being a Viper By another shetona man to combat a vidraal that rampaged across northern Xak Tural. Though he learned well, the beast still may live, and Shaahye himself has turned reluctant to pursue.

⸻ Yyasulani as it is stands is a point of contention for the Shetona. Though not directly from the region, nor was he directly impacted himself, friends and relatives met bitter fates in what was to him an instant. Now, he is hesitant to even attempt to venture back north past what has become Heritage Found and Solution Nine.

⸻ Meanwhile, anyone who may be from what became Alexandria would be met with extreme caution-- and likely distaste, be them originally Turali or born in the region. Shaahye is an opinionated man with loss-- though perhaps his sharpness towards those people can still be curbed in time.

⸻ A longer life comes with several chapters. Alone, Shaahye took up residing in Yok Tural for much of his last decades. Particularly, Yak T'el in abandoned homes, in typical Shetona custom. Xbr'aal from the forest might at least have seen the traveling collector pass through Iq Br'aax to make small purchases and pleasant conversation.

⸻ Fond is he of his Alkonost, or okyupete, who he is more likely to call peshye than by any definition of her kind. Though not always adherent to his whims, his beast of burden still most likely comes when called on travels to support his carry weight.

⸻ Other Shetona have long been a thing of strength, family and affection to Shaahye. He himself, however, may be a little of a black alpaca of one. As far as it seems, he has no families of his own to speak of, No children, or partners. Still, he's fond of travel and sharing news between others along the way.
